We can use this wiki to record our discussions at book club, add ideas, suggestions, questions, or any other thoughts we have about teaching writing.
You can find the wiki page that corresponds to a certain chapter on the Navigation Bar at the far right hand side. There you will find notes from our discussion and and further discussions people have added that pertain to that chapter. To add to the page, click on Edit on the top right. When you are finished, click save (or preview if you want to look at it first). To add a discussion thread, click on the Discussion tab on the top. People can then reply to that particular discussion.
People attending the book club will receive a certificate stating the number of hours attended which can be used towards re-certification credit. Those teachers who would like to earn the additional 7 hours needed to get 1 credit have agreed to attend meetings about writing at their buildings, keep a record of those meetings (minutes with attendance and time), and can then use an aggregate credit form.
